Frequently asked questions

How do I track a show?

Open Search, find the anime, and add it to your favourites. Set its category (Tracking, Scheduled, or Watched). Shows in Scheduled are the ones that send you a push notification when a new episode broadcasts.

I'm not receiving notifications.

How do I sign in?

You can use an email + password, Sign in with Google, or Sign in with Apple (iOS).

I forgot my password.

On the login screen tap Forgot password? and follow the emailed reset code. If your account was created with Google or Apple, you can set a password from Profile → Change/Set password.

How do I change my username, avatar, or language?

Open Profile and edit them there.

How do I delete my account?

In the app: Profile → Delete account. If you've already uninstalled, email [email protected] from your account address with the subject "Delete my account". See the full Account Deletion page for what is removed and retained.

How do I make a privacy/data request?

See our Data Access & Privacy Requests information, or email [email protected].

Which platforms are supported?

AniBell runs on iOS and Android, and there is a web version. Push notifications require the mobile app (they don't work in the web browser).
