Terms of Service — AniBell

These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a legal agreement between you and Musa Alperen Demir ("we", "us", "our") governing your use of the AniBell mobile and web application and related services (the "App"). By creating an account or using the App, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

1. Eligibility & accounts

• You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age of digital consent in your country) to use AniBell.
• You are responsible for the accuracy of your account information and for keeping your credentials secure. You are responsible for activity under your account.
• You may register with an email and password, or via Sign in with Google or Sign in with Apple.

2. License

We grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for your own non-commercial purposes, subject to these Terms. We reserve all rights not expressly granted.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• use the App for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms;
• attempt to access, probe, or disrupt the service, other accounts, or our infrastructure (including circumventing rate limits, authentication, or security controls);
• scrape, resell, or redistribute the service or its data, or build a competing service from it;
• reverse engineer the App except to the extent that restriction is prohibited by law.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

4. Anime information & third-party content

Anime metadata (titles, schedules, episode and status information) is provided by AniList and similar sources. We present it for convenience and do not guarantee its accuracy, completeness, or timeliness — broadcast times and statuses can change or be wrong upstream. Notifications are provided on a best-effort basis and may be delayed or missed; do not rely on AniBell as your sole reminder for anything important. All third-party marks and content belong to their respective owners.

5. Intellectual property

The App, its design, and its original content (excluding third-party anime data) are owned by Musa Alperen Demir and protected by applicable laws. The "AniBell" name and logo are ours.

6. Subscriptions and in-app purchases

The following applies once in-app purchases are available in the App.

AniBell may offer an auto-renewing subscription ("AniBell Plus") and one-time purchases ("theme packs").

• What you get: Plus unlocks features described at the point of purchase (e.g. unlimited tracking and notification controls). Theme packs are one-time purchases that unlock cosmetic options and are owned permanently for your account.
• Billing: purchases are processed and billed by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play) through your store account — not by us.
• Auto-renewal: a subscription automatically renews for the same period at the then- current price unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your store account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the period ends.
• Managing & cancelling: manage or cancel your subscription in your Apple ID or Google Play account settings. Cancelling stops future renewals; you keep access until the end of the paid period.
• Prices are shown in the App before purchase and may vary by region and over time; we will obtain consent for price increases where required.
• Free trials/introductory offers (if any) convert to paid unless cancelled before they end; unused portions of a free trial are forfeited on purchase of the related subscription.

7. Refunds

Purchases are handled by Apple and Google, and refunds are governed by their policies:

We generally cannot grant refunds directly; please contact the relevant store.

8. Apple App Store — additional terms (Licensed Application End User License Agreement)

For the version installed from the Apple App Store, these Terms incorporate Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement (EULA) (https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/). Where these Terms conflict with Apple's standard EULA, the standard EULA governs to the extent of the conflict. You acknowledge that: these Terms are between you and us, not Apple; Apple is not responsible for the App or its support; and Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you.

9. Disclaimers

The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that notifications will always be delivered on time.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Musa Alperen Demir will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising from your use of (or inability to use) the App. To the extent liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim or the minimum permitted by applicable law. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of these may not apply to you.

11. Termination

You may stop using the App and delete your account at any time (Profile → Delete account, or via https://anibell.net/delete-account). We may suspend or terminate your access for violation of these Terms or where required by law. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (e.g. intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability) survive.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. We will update the "Last updated" date and, for material changes, provide a more prominent notice. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

13. Governing law & disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Subject to the consumer-protection rights below, the competent courts and enforcement offices of Türkiye will have jurisdiction over any dispute.

Your consumer-protection rights are preserved. Nothing in this section deprives you of the protection of mandatory consumer-protection laws that apply where you live:

• Turkish consumers may, up to the monetary thresholds set each year, apply to the Consumer Arbitration Committees (Tüketici Hakem Heyetleri) or the Consumer Courts (Tüketici Mahkemeleri) at their place of residence under Law No. 6502 on the Protection of Consumers.
• EU/UK and other consumers retain any mandatory rights and the right to bring proceedings in the courts of their country of residence where local law so requires.
