Delete Your AniBell Account & Data

This page explains how to delete your AniBell account and the data associated with it. It is provided so you can request deletion even if you have already uninstalled the app, as required by Google Play.

Option 1 — Delete in the app (fastest)

1. Open AniBell and sign in.
2. Go to Profile → Delete account.
3. Confirm. (If your account was created with Google or Apple and has no password yet, you'll be asked to set a password first, which we use to confirm the deletion.)

Your account is deleted immediately.

Subscriptions are not cancelled automatically. If you have AniBell Plus, cancel it in your Apple ID or Google Play subscriptions — deleting your account or the App does not stop store billing.

Option 2 — Request deletion by email (e.g. if you've uninstalled)

Email [email protected] from the email address on your AniBell account with the subject "Delete my account". We will verify ownership of the address and delete the account. We respond within the time required by applicable law (and aim to do so promptly).

What gets deleted

When your account is deleted, we delete:

• your account profile (email, password hash, username, avatar selection, language, settings, linked Google/Apple identifiers);
• your device push-notification tokens and sign-in sessions;
• the shows in your lists and your watched-episode progress;
• your notification inbox;
• your Plus and theme-pack entitlement records;
• your authentication codes.

What is retained, and for how long

• Feedback conversations and survey answers are anonymized (disconnected from your account) rather than deleted, so their content may remain without identifying you.
• If you claimed the one-time welcome offer or the survey reward, the email address that claimed it is kept so the offer can't be claimed again with that address. It is not used for anything else.
• Usage-analytics events are anonymized and deleted within 30 days.
• Server error logs are kept for up to 90 days, then removed.
• Routine database backups may retain data until they are overwritten in the normal backup rotation.
• Apple/Google and our purchase-management provider RevenueCat retain transaction records under their own policies; contact the relevant store to manage that data.
