Delete Your AniBell Account & Data

This page explains how to delete your AniBell account and the data associated with it. It is provided so you can request deletion even if you have already uninstalled the app, as required by Google Play.
Option 1 — Delete in the app (fastest)
- Open AniBell and sign in.
- Go to Profile → Delete account.
- Confirm. (If your account was created with Google or Apple and has no password yet, you'll be asked to set a password first, which we use to confirm the deletion.)
Your account is deleted immediately.
Option 2 — Request deletion by email (e.g. if you've uninstalled)
Email [email protected] from the email address on your AniBell account with the subject "Delete my account". We will verify ownership of the address and delete the account. We respond within the time required by applicable law (and aim to do so promptly).
What gets deleted
When your account is deleted, we delete:
- your account profile (email, password hash, username, avatar selection, language, linked Google/Apple identifiers);
- your device push-notification tokens;
- the shows you tracked and your watched-episode progress;
- your authentication codes.
What is retained, and for how long
- Feedback you submitted is anonymized (disconnected from your account) rather than deleted, so the message content may remain without identifying you.
- Server error logs are kept for up to 90 days, then removed.
- Routine database backups may retain data until they are overwritten in the normal backup rotation.
- In-app purchases are not currently offered. If they are introduced and you make a purchase, Apple/Google (and any purchase-management provider we use) retain transaction records under their own policies; contact the relevant store to manage that data.
